I thought I wanted the corner office, big business, to suit up!

The recession plus moving to a different corner of the country put the kibosh on that. It was tough, beautiful and amplified time in my life as we moved around the country. All along I craved and nurtured my home, my husband (+ pup) and our lifestyle. It kept me going and brought me immense fulfillment.

16 successful years with my husband through the most bat-shit crazy times of life (here’s looking at you puberty and college.) 7 homes set-up in 3 different states in 5 years. And it still took me well over 10,000 hours to figure out I was an expert.

Now I spend my days coaching, writing and creating from my dream-home-office in Saint Paul, Minnesota + hanging with my pup Watson in the backyard, seeking adventure with my husband and connecting with friends and family on a regular basis.

I’m a lanky Norwegian who likes to go outside as often as possible. I believe movement and the outdoors cure almost anything. So does an episode of MadMen and homemade cookies. I enjoy setting up my home and my life to support the design I have in mind for both. I travel a lot, but consider myself a homebody. I’m an introvert who craves authentic connection and a full life experience with everything I do.

As a daily life designer I teach people how to be successful (by their own definition) AND sane + live a real offline life.
